Piano Lessons for Everyone

Welcome to Natasha's Piano Studio!

My motto: “Enjoyment of Music and sharing it with others”.

Mrs. Natasha Riabova is highly valued as a Piano teacher because of her strong classical training. For over twenty years she has taught piano both in Russia and America in the different musical institutions, including Music School for gifted children in Moscow, Russia and the Conservatory of Music at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Mrs. Riabova is a member of the National Music Teaches Association.

Mrs. Riabova teaches students of all levels, from kids to adults because she believes that everyone has a talent, ability to study music and can enjoy playing a musical instrument. The beginning students learn to play piano in an easy way, having fun and performing Natasha's arrangements of favorite songs and tunes. Kids love to play duets with their teacher and each other. Intermediate and advanced students enjoy playing different styles of music from Baroque to contemporary and folk. As a performing musician Mrs. Riabova does plenty of demonstrations during the lessons and provides meaningful comments from music history and theory.

Natasha's students have an opportunities to participate in recitals
and local piano competitions.

Mrs. Riabova has several students who pursued a musical carrier
or chose a music as a second major.

Students and parents love special home evenings of music making in informal, friendly atmosphere.

Piano lessons are offered Monday through Friday mornings and afternoons and occasionally on weekends for make up lessons due to student's illness or inclement weather. Home schooled children are especially welcome!

Lessons are normally given from Natasha's home studio, but it is possible for teacher to travel for groups totalling 2 or more teaching hours. Half hour lessons are recommended  for the beginners and intermediate and advanced students are encouraged to take 45-minute or 60-minute lessons.

Prices for lessons are made according to the NMTA's guide and starts from $ 25 per half hour.*

Experience the joy of creating music with your own two hands!

* Piano lessons tuition for students K-12 can be used as a credit on state taxes.

"I had extensive coaching with Natasha while working on my Stravinsky's and Rachmaninoff's recital for Schubert Club and I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with her expertise and knowledge. Natasha has very sharp ears and is super sensitive to subtle differentiations in pitch and voice color... Her intuitive sense of collaborative balance is truly a gift. She could make the piano sing right along with me. I don't ever think I've heard any obvious “finger-flubs”. Her professionalism has my utmost respect. I highly recommend Mrs. Riabova for coaching, auditions, recitals."
