About Natasha Riobova

Natasha Riabova is a professional pianist, organist, accompanist-coach and piano teacher. Born in Moscow, Russia, Mrs. Riabova received her strong classical training in Musicoligy and Piano Pedagogy from the renowned Gnessin Music College and the State Gnessin Academy of Music. She also earned Master degree in Organ Performance from the University of Minnesota in 1996. In the following years Natasha studied accompanying-coaching skills with Margo Garrett. Mrs. Riabova had a privilege to participate in Aspen Music Festival and School (CO) and Summer Song Fest (Irvine, CA) as a Music Scholar.

Since 1992 Natasha has been serving different church denominations as an organist, playing both traditional and contemporary services. She has been involved in several large music projects, including Messiah by G.Handel, Gloria by A.Vivaldi, Requem by W.Mozart, Messa in G by F.Schubert, Requem by G.Faure, Pines of Rome by O.Respigi, Noah's Fludde by B.Britten.

As a collaborative pianist Mrs. Riabova worked with many professional choirs, singers and instrumentalists both in Russia and USA. She served many student auditions, juries, competitions an recitals as an accompanist.

Natasha Riabova is highly valued as a Piano Teacher because of her strong classical background and experience to work with all levels. She has taught piano in the different musical institutions, including Music School for gifted children in Moscow and the Conservatory of Music at the University of St.Thomas in St.Paul, MN. Her students participated in many local piano competitions and concerts.

Mrs. Riabova is very fascinated by piano entertainment. She can create a special, elegant atmosphere for  for weddings, receptions, private and corporate parties, special occasions.. Natasha plays diversity of musical styles, including light classical and romantic music, popular songs, Broadway and jazz tunes, ethnic melodies and inspirational music. Her style of performing is very elegant and touchable, her sound is very rich and colorful.

Mrs. Riabova considers sight-reading and ability to learn music in a short time her strongest professional qualities.
